Belinda Lever is a CPA qualified accountant with more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry. Most recently Belinda worked for 11 years as a Business Services Manager at an accounting firm so she knows exactly how accountants need End of Year client files to be presented.

Annie Caulfield
Xero expert Annie Caulfield, is one of Notch Above’s Client Managers, working on all things bookkeeping – BAS, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, Superannuation and liaising with the Australian Tax Office on behalf of business owners. Even though she has developed a bookkeeping niche for working with clients in the Pharmacy sector, Annie proficiently works with businesses from a wide-ranging client base, across Australia.
Annie is our go-to person for personalised Xero training and support. She is a Xero Certified Bookkeeper as well as Xero Payroll Certified. She takes pride in putting the puzzle pieces together to get the numbers right for our business clients so that all important deadlines are hit and meaningful management reports are generated.
Annie loves her role at Notch Above because she gets to connect with people which makes day to day bookkeeping fun. In her spare time, Annie enjoys going to the beach and exploring all sorts of performance and visual art. She is also a keen singer and songwriter.

Tracey wanted a career that used her knowledge amassed from being a chef and doing food industry bookwork, which allowed her to work flexibly with a degree behind her.
“Every day I get to speak with business owners from all different walks of life, and I love doing the accounts when most people don’t. It’s so satisfying to assist them; it’s always a challenge and never boring when their accounts shine and a business owner can see their business growing and what is actually happening.”
Tracey takes businesses through the whole cycle of Xero from installation, training and procedures, to bookkeeping and support. With her food industry and public practice experience, she can also help business owners make the conversion to Xero from legacy packages such as MYOB and QuickBooks.

Tracey joined Notch Above Bookkeeping in 2019 and is a Xero Certified Advisor and certified in Xero Payroll. She is also a qualified chef and passionate about the food and fast food industries. Outside of work Tracey is a dedicated swimming mum and swim club treasurer putting in long days poolside with early starts. When she’s not at the pool, Tracey loves spending time with her family and enjoying simple things like bushwalking, the beach and the great outdoors – anything that allows her to have a break from the computer.

Annette White, Xero Certified Advisor
Annette has been doing the books for all sorts of businesses since she was 15 years old. Joining Notch Above in March 2022, Annette brings with her a high attention to detail that has been honed during a bookkeeping career working for small and medium businesses, and also in the accounting profession.
“I’d say I could do bookkeeping in my sleep, and business owners gain real benefit from my thorough standard of bookwork.”
Annette has a particular flair for payroll and looks forward to applying her knowledge in her role at Notch Above. She enjoys being able to focus on clients and putting their needs first.
In her spare time, Annette helps out at the Redcliffe Leagues Club and is not averse to sharing good times with friends and family over delicious food and wine.

Jac uses her Xero expertise to build systems that simplify workflows and the lives of small business owners. As a wife, a mum to three gorgeous kids, and also a business owner, she knows how busy life can get and understands the pressures of small business.
“I love helping people simplify their businesses so they can get on and enjoy their lives. The simpler the better is my philosophy to work and life.”
Jac, as a BAS Agent, personally reviews all BAS returns lodged by Notch Above Bookkeeping. She helps clients gain valuable insights into the health of their business by demystifying the numbers for them, helping clients better manage their cash flow so that they can plan for the future.
In her spare time you will find Jac outdoors enjoying the beach or a bush walk. Otherwise her personal time is spent reading a good book or furthering her knowledge about best business practices.

Annie is the first person who processes a client’s file and ensures that all the systems and processes are set up correctly. She works closely with clients during those initial weeks and months to ensure the best result for the client. Annie is also the go-to person for our personalised Xero training and support.
Annie is a Xero certified bookkeeper and takes pride in putting the puzzle pieces together to get the numbers right for our clients, enabling the completion of BAS returns and meaningful management reports.
One of Annie’s favourite quotes is by towering self-help titan Tony Robbins “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” It perfectly encapsulates Annie’s attitudes to how she likes to work in that Annie is always trying new ways to solve problems.
Raising money for good causes is a particular passion of hers. Recently she helped put on a fundraising event to raise money for a school for underprivileged kids in Bali, Indonesia.

Sue Megaw is a Xero certified bookkeeper priding herself on her determination and attention to detail. Sue helps clients using Xero process bank reconciliations and complete their BAS returns.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” is a quote by Confucius and really sums up Sue’s worth ethic and overall upbeat attitude. Committed to self-improvement and a life-long learner; Sue holds a Diploma of Management, Diploma of Business Administration and is currently completing a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting).
When she’s not studying, Sue uses a lot of her downtime for family (a self-confessed “rugby-union mum”) and is also passionate about reading, travel, home design and renovations.

Joanne works like a silent partner in a client’s business, tuning herself into the needs of a business and using her knowledge of Xero to put all the pieces of a business puzzle together.

“I take enormous pride in my chosen profession as the work I do helps bring order to businesses, which in turn brings order to people’s lives. I love it when everything is in balance–both work and life.”
She believes that focusing on the positives is essential to success, as expressed in her favourite quote by Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right.”
Outside of work Joanne loves to travel, specifically wandering the back streets of the world. She also has a passion for cycling.
